Thank you for purchasing RealGirls Strip Poker! We've strived to make this game a realistic simulation of a strip poker party. To accomplish this, the game contains over 500 full-motion video clips; over one hundred lines per girl. Couple this with the ability to touch, lick, and give the girls beer, and you've got yourself a wild strip poker party!
RealGirls Strip Poker is based on five-card draw poker. The rules are kept simple so anyone can play. Game instructions are further down this readme.
Here are a few tips to make RealGirls Strip Poker run optimally on your computer:
1) Use the latest version of QuickTime. Under Windows, QuickTime 3.0 or above must be installed, the game will not work with earlier versions. The QuickTime 4 installer is included on the CD and can also be downloaded free from the Internet at http://www.apple.com.
2) Make sure your monitor is set for 16-bit color depth (thousands of colors) or higher. Consult the documentation that came with your Operating System if you're not sure how to check your monitor's color depth setting.
3) Quit any applications running in the background.
4) If you use Virtual Memory, RAM Doubler, or AppleTalk networking, turn these off before playing the game (Mac).
Some PC's do not feature gamma correction, resulting in dark videos. If you experience this, try adjusting gamma in the property settings of your video card. Alternatively, you can try adjusting your monitor:
1) Increase contrast all the way up (100%).
2) Adjust brightness until picture is acceptable.
If you experience dark videos on a Mac, you may have gamma correction turned off. Turn it on under the Monitors control panel.
The first screen you see is the main introduction area. Clicking on any of the girls will play a brief introduction by that girl. To start a game, click on an arrow pointing to the girl(s) you want to play.
The next screen will be the main playing area, at which point clicking on the Ante pot will ante up $1 from each player and start the round. Five cards are dealt to all players and turns are taken in a clockwise order.
Each player starts with $100 and four articles of clothing at the beginning of the game.
There are three raises allowed per betting round.
GAME INTERFACE
Call - Calling matches the current bet amount in the pot. If all players call without making any bets during the first betting round, the pot remains the same, everyone antes up again, and new cards are dealt.
Fold - Clicking on the fold button drops you out of the current round with no possibility of winning the pot. If you fold, any article of clothing sold and/or money bet will be forfeited.
$1, $5, $10 - If nobody has made a bet yet, these buttons allow you to bet $1, $5, or $10. If another player has made a bet, these buttons will call and raise the bet.
Discard - After the first betting interval, players will have a chance to discard and draw up to four new cards. When the Discard button pops up, select the cards you wish to replace and click the Discard button.
WINNING A ROUND
The player with the highest ranking hand, that hasn't folded, wins the round.
SELLING CLOTHES
If a player runs out of money during a hand, that player automatically offers an article of clothing in exchange for another $100. If that player loses the round, the article of clothing is considered sold and is then removed. If that player wins the round, $100 is returned to the player and no clothing is removed.
"NUDE METER"
The "nude meter", located in the lower right-hand corner of the playing area, consists of four small lights. Each time you lose an article of clothing, a light goes out. When all lights have gone out, you are considered totally nude and have lost the game! (Whether you actually take your clothes off during the game is up to you!)
TOY BOX
This collection of "toys" is guaranteed to keep the party at its peak. To use a toy, click on it to pick it up. The toy will disappear from the toy box and the cursor will change to that toy. Click on a girl to use that item on her.
* Cop-a-Feel Hands - For those times when you can't keep your hands to yourself!
* Lick-o-Matic Tongue - Is it rude to lick a girl when she's trying to play poker? Find out!
* Chug-a-Lug Beer Mug - Even naked girls get thirsty. Besides, what's a strip poker game without alcohol! And, yes, giving the girls beer might affect their poker-playing skills!
* Magnifying Glass - The big payoff: only available when you get one of the girls totally naked. Zooming in never felt so good!

MISC COMMANDS
RealGirls Strip Poker has a menu bar that stays hidden during the game. To bring up the menu bar, move the cursor to the top of the screen. From the menu, you can quit, start a new game, hide the game, adjust the volume level (Mac only), or put up a small help window containing hand rankings.
